About Me

Who am I?

Hey girl!!

You might be wondering—who’s behind all this advice, encouragement, and inspiration? Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Josefina (Josie) Heredia. I’m 15 years old, Latina (Mexican and Dominican), and just like you, I’ve been on a rollercoaster ride of figuring out who I am.

As the oldest sister, I’ve always carried the responsibility of being a role model for my younger siblings. I’m the type of girl who’s organized, loyal, a bit of an overachiever, and very in touch with my emotions. But most of all, I’m someone who truly cares about helping others.

Whether it’s guiding my little siblings through challenges I’ve already faced or volunteering at my church every Sunday, giving back has always been part of who I am. Through my own ups and downs, I’ve gained wisdom that I can’t keep to myself.

That’s why I created "Josie’s Journal"—a safe space where I can give my advice to girls who might need a friend or guide through being a teenager. Whatever you are going through, you're not alone.

Here, you’ll find encouragement, resources, and reminders that you are capable of anything. I hope that reading this blog feels like chatting with a big sister who wants to see you shine, because I truly do!!
